Passport and visa requirements

You and your family must carry the necessary passports and visas at the point of departure and arrival. Hahn Air Lines assumes no liability in this respect.

Baggage

We are highly flexible and accommodating when it comes to your baggage. Please let us know in advance what baggage and additional items you intend to carry. There may be some space restrictions due to the size of the baggage hold. There are also safety standards that must be adhered to.

Carrying dangerous goods

Please note that due to international regulations and to ensure the safety of our customers, there are a number of restrictions on items that can be carried as cabin baggage and checked baggage.

Items such as sporting weapons, which may cause injury or represent a threat to the security or safety of other passengers or the crew, can only be carried as checked baggage, and are not allowed as cabin baggage. These items should be appropriately packed for carriage, in accordance with IATA Regulations and relevant local regulations. Only dangerous goods permitted in hand luggage under the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations may be transported on a Hahnair flight.

Transportation of animals

With Hahnair, your dog or cat will fly with you in the cabin during the entire flight.
To ensure your pets are safely transported, and for the consideration of other passengers, your pets are welcome on our business jets under the following conditions:

Your animal is transported in a soft carrier bag (max dimensions 50 x 40 x 20 cm) that is clean,
escape-proof and scratch-resistant or in a transport box (size “S”, max dimensions 57 x 37 x 36 cm).
Dogs and cats should weigh no more than 7 kg (carrier bag inclusive).
The animal remains inside their spacious carrier bag or box for the duration of the flight. The transport container must be large enough for the animal to stand up, turn around and lie down in a natural position. It is prohibited for the animal to roam free in the aircraft cabin.
Your pet must be clean, healthy and should not bother other passengers. It is neither dangerous nor pregnant and is odor free.

Compliance with the entry and exit requirements as well as the animal welfare regulations is your responsibility. Please consult regulations of your destination countries with the respective consulate and speak with your veterinarian.

Please note that only a limited number of animals are allowed on board per flight. Therefore, we recommend an early reservation to ensure your pet can be transported. If your pet does not behave in accordance with these guidelines, Hahnair reserves the right to refuse transport of the animal.
